God of War Details, storyline and release date

      The end of God of War 4 opened a new branch and gave new directions to the storyline of the game series. It has been announced that this new 5th generation of the game, will possess a new game engine, camera movement, controls, and Kratos himself. So new players who have not played any earlier game of God of War can also enjoy this game.

The gameplay of the game:

On Jan 10, Kim Newman posted a picture on twitter in motion- capture suit, clearly showing that the motion capture of the game has already started many months ago.

There is no doubt that this game will feature Ragnarok meaning the end of the world. All the Gods, giants and other creatures will fight against each other triggering the end of the world. Thus the game will have more fights or action scenes than GOW 4. Of course, the game will be an open-world game with a bigger area and many possibilities. If you have played the God of War 4, then you might have seen how Kratos triggered the apocalypse which made the end of the world near.

The storyline of the game:

              It is very hard to predict the storyline of God of War 5 but some of the most famous theories are:

1. The epic fight between Kratos and Thor:

                   In a cutscene in GOW 4, Kratos and Atreus discovered Thor standing outside their house. It is said that Thor had come to seek revenge from Kratos as he had killed Thor’s sons.

2. Atreus may become the new God of War:

                  Kratos might get killed in God of War 5 as he always regrets about his past. He has even tried to kill himself. If this happens, Atreus will progress the GOW series as the new God of War.

3. The resurrection of Zeus: 

                  It took the protagonist two games to kill Zeus. He is one of the craziest characters. Zeus may have escaped his death somehow and now he is thirsty to kill Zeus.

Villains of the game:

               In the end scene of God of War 4, Atreus dreamt that Thor had visited them. Kratos had killed the sons of Thor. So there are chances that Thor had come to kill Kratos and to seek revenge. If this happens it will be the most epic battle of God of War franchise. It can be predicted that Odin and Thor will be the main villains of God of War 5.

Game Title:

            The game director tweeted Ragnarok is coming. Ragnarok is also the hidden message in the PS4 dynamic theme. So there are likely chances that the game will be called God of War: Ragnarok.

Release Date:

              It took about 5 years to develop and publish the God of War 4. But this time, as per the directors, it will take less time. Some leaks suggest that it will release some months after the release of PS5 as the game will be a PS5 exclusive game. 

Hence it can be concluded that the game will most probably release in 2021 to maximize its sales.
